NORRISTOWN â A Norristown man accused of fatally shooting another man in the borough last month was apprehended in Florida by U.S. Marshals and will be extradited to Montgomery County to face homicide charges.
Hilton Freeman Jr., 21, of the 200 block of Minor Street, was charged on Tuesday with first- and third-degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder, person not to possess a firearm and possessing instruments of crime in connection with the alleged April 25 fatal shooting of Junior Pinnock during an altercation at Barbadoes and Ann streets in the borough.
Freeman and a female friend, Asia Marie Jackson, 18, also of the Minor Street address, were arrested on Monday by U.S. Marshalls at a residence in Jacksonville, Fla., according to authorities.
