Stoudemire was driving north on North W Street at an estimated speed of 78 mph when she tried to make a left turn onto Marcus Pointe Boulevard, according to her arrest report. She was traveling too fast to negotiate the turn, and her car collided with two oncoming vehicles, according to the release.
Stoudemire s backseat passenger, 27-year-old Tyrone Deonta Wilkins Jr., died from injuries in the crash. Both Stoudemire and her front seat passenger suffered serious injuries in the collision.
The driver of a truck that was struck during the crash also was injured, according to the news release.
A blood sample found Stoudemire was under the influence of alcohol and cannabis at the time of the crash, and her blood-alcohol level was 0.221. She also did not possess a valid driver s license.

The Escambia County Tax Collector Molino office will open late on Wednesday for installation of a new computer system.
The Molino will open at 1 p.m. on Wednesday for the switch-over and testing process.
Escambia County Tax Collector Scott Lunsford said the news system is part of the Online Registration and Identity Operating Network (ORION). ORION will modernize the driver’s license issuance process and create new office efficiencies in Escambia County and across the state.
During these service interruptions, other office locations will be unaffected and open at regularly scheduled times.
