Fingal County Council Sports Office will be adding to the Fingal HomeFit live series by facilitating a free yoga programme. Erica from Yoga Sanctuary will be teaching a 4-week online yoga course aimed at beginners, but all are welcome. She will guide you through a 1-hour class each week aimed at introducing you to the benefits of yoga through breathwork, yoga postures and relaxation.

Fingal County Council has extended its congratulations to Rush Cricket Club s Neil Rock for his selection to Cricket Ireland s Senior National squad for their tour of the United Arab Emirates, this month.
Neil, born and raised in Fingal has a fine pedigree with no lesser judge than ICC award-winning Fingal Development Manager Brian O Rourke rating him as one of the finest wicketkeeper batsmen I have worked with .
Aged just 20, Neil is already a former Leinster youth captain, Catholic University School and Glenwood High School student in South Africa. He has made a rapid rise through the cricket ranks of Irish teams featuring for the u15, u17, u19s, Academy, and A-teams. He had a most successful u19 World Cup campaign in 2018, held in New Zealand, scoring 235 runs in six games joining former Leinster batsmen Eoin Morgan, Kevin O Brien, Lorcan Tucker, Harry Tector & Jamie Grassi who returned similar impressive batting statistics at previous World Cups.
Fingal Sports Office were delighted recently to present St. Michael s House in Skerries with the first of the adapted bicycles they have purchased through the Dormant Accounts Fund.
The bicycles are specially designed for people with a disability and will be used by students at the school to take part in programmes such as Cycling Ireland s Learn to Cycle programme.
The bicycles where presented to the school by Sports Inclusion Disability Officer, David Daly. Mayor of Fingal, Cllr David Healy, said: I am very pleased to see Fingal Sports Office using the Dormant Accounts Funds for such a hugely worthwhile project.
