Some tidbits about the One Tree Hill pilot from this week s Drama Queens podcast
Before becoming the show we all know and love, THIS was the direction that was originally set for #OneTreeHill!

-The show was originally to be narrated by Whitey (the basketball coach), to his deceased wife Camilla. This changed when producers decided the show should be like 8 Mile and have a ~sexy underbelly~ in an aw shucks town.
-They all agree Uncle Keith was hot
-They freaked out about the scene where Peyton gets out of the shower with Nathan and says, Hi Mr. Scott! in a towel. Hilarie says at conventions, they remind fans this is NOT a true high school experience.

EDWARDSVILLE Yenna Hill is used to being compared to her uncle, the late Keith Haring and she’s OK with it.
For Cordal woman Kay Griffin, this past year has represented the longest continuous time that she s been away from home and her family ever since she first moved away over 23 years ago.
Kay, who now lives on the island of Jersey on the Channel Islands, is facing into her first Christmas away from home since 2010, and she admitted to The Kerryman that it will be a tough one to get through. It s been a bit of a strange year to say the least and so, yeah, it s annoying that I won t be able to get home, but there s nothing that anyone can do about that I guess, said Kay last Thursday.
