Tweet Share Say what you will about the past session of the state legislature — at least they accomplished one semi-constructive thing: By a vote of 26-1, the Senate declared May 21 to be “International Tennessee Whiskey Day.” While I’m not completely sure how a state legislature can declare an “International” anything, at least they were able to come together to recognize the importance of distilling as an industry in Tennessee. (Except for Republican Sen.
