Make Sure You Bring a Mask With You to Any Fort Hood Facility
Due to the recent rise in COVID-19 cases, Fort Hood has announced new mask mandates for anyone entering a Fort Hood facility.
KXXV Channel 25 News reports that everyone visiting Fort Hood must wear a mask inside all facilities. That includes service members, federal employees, onsite contractor employees, and visitors.
The move comes as COVID-19 cases in Central Texas are once again spiking. The CDC has declared Bell and Coryell Counties as high risk areas and the move also coincides with the Deputy Secretary of Defense’s Memorandum that came out on July 28 stating,

After experiencing a year they describe as “challenging, exhausting and important,” the owners of Antenna Cloud Farm are happy to announce their return with an exciting musical lineup for 2021. In case you are not familiar with Antenna Cloud Farm, it is a multi-genre music festival and artists’ retreat located on a beautiful, 100-acre hilltop former dairy farm in the town of Gill.
Launched in 2017 by composer Judd Greenstein and his wife, Juilliard-trained violinist and composer Michi Wiancko, the farm has hosted some dazzling performances over the years. The music they present is often described as “cutting edge” and “innovative,” words that aptly describe the upcoming lineup. However, this year will see far fewer shows than previous years.
An elementary teacher known for bringing space science to her kindergarten students and a middle school coach who motivates students and teachers alike are Killeen ISD Teachers of the Year.
Palo Alto Middle School coach Elise Kea is the Secondary Teacher of the Year. Lisa Stewart of Skipcha Elementary School is the Elementary Teacher of the Year.
The school district combined virtual technology with surprise-at-the-front door tactics to reveal the pair Tuesday evening.
Both expressed shock when they heard their names announced during the virtual ceremony, then found guests outside their houses bearing gifts.
The school districtâs 52 campus Teachers of the Year watched from their homes through Zoom conferenceing as KISDâs annual Teacher of the Year unfolded in a very different format.
