Finance Minister Grant Robertson says the Government s major KiwiSaver shakeup will apply competitive pressure to other private fund managers to slash their fees. I think and I hope that this will lead to a greater level of competition, and they will lead to a lowering of fees, he told media this morning.
He said that KiwiSaver fees have been too high for too long and the Government s move will help deliver a much-needed shakeup.

OPINION:
If ever there was a time for a Labour Finance Minister to deliver a Budget true to his party s roots, it is now.
Grant Robertson is unencumbered by a veto-wielding coalition partner. At the risk of tempting fate, the worst of the pandemic looks to be behind us.

JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - The city of Jonesboro is continuing to work on adding more walking trails across town.
A master plan is what the city is calling their plans to make walking, running, and riding a bike across the city safe and more accessible. They are doing that by adding more trails.
“It’s critical to our future. We want to retain people, we want to attract people and it’s things like this that make the difference,” says Bill Campbell, director of communications for the city of Jonesboro.
