Traffic is at a near standstill on Interstate 81 south in Dauphin County because of unspecified police activity, according to traffic maps.
Stop-and-go or heavy traffic is in place for miles near exit 77 to Hershey and Manada Hill, according to 511PA.
The police activity is taking place about 1.9 miles south of exit 77, but the traffic jam on I-81 south seems to stretch almost to exit 80 in Grantville.

One person was killed in a crash on I-81 south in West Hanover Township in Dauphin County Friday evening.
The crash happened near the Hershey and Manada Hill exit. All lanes of 81 south are currently shut down near Exit 77, said Pennsylvania State Police spokeswoman Megan Ammerman.
“All we know is it was immediately apparent that it was fatal and both southbound lanes of 81 south are shut down at 75.5 southbound,” said Pennsylvania Department of Transportation spokeswoman Fritzi Schreffler.
