MANDEVILLE (WVUE) -Abita Springs Mayor Dan Curtis and Mandeville Police Chief Gerald Sticker say they have COVID-19.
Curtis says he only had a headache and slight cough, but all symptoms have subsided.
He’s planning to follow guidelines and self-quarantine.
Police Chief Gerald Sticker tells FOX 8 that he has been working from home after contracting Coronavirus just before Christmas.
Sticker says the virus brought on a case of pneumonia, but says he’s feeling much better.
He hopes to return to the Mandeville Police station in the coming days.
