LISBON Students at Robert Bycroft School who go outside for recess will find a new slide and swing set on the school’s playground. The new playground equipment is ADA-compliant, said principal Andrew Garber. It was purchased at a cost of $12,100 from the ParkPlay Solutions company, the cost partially paid by a grant from the Knights of Columbus. County Board of Developmental Disabilities superintendent Bill Devon said the board authorized the purchase “in the spring, but it took quite a while to get it installed.” The school’s maintenance supervisor, John Wolf, was first to observe that the existing equipment needed to be replaced, he said, and Bycroft teacher Kathy Timmons made the request to the administration. �
