Hengyi Industries Sdn Bhd held a presentation of donations to 20 underprivileged families and orphans from Kampong Serasa, Kapok, Muara and Meragang at Al-Fath Hall, Maritime and Port Authority of Brunei Darussalam (MPABD) Headquarters as part of the company’s annual corporate social responsibility initiative to lighten the burden of families and orphans for the upcoming Hari Raya celebration.
Legislative Council member and Acting Penghulu of Mukim Serasa Yang Berhormat Pengiran Haji Mohamed bin Pengiran Haji Osman @ Othman was the guest of honour.
Legislative Council member Yang Berhormat Nik Hafimi binti Abdul Haadii was also present.
Guest of honour and Chief Executive Officer of Hengyi Chen Lian Cai presented the donations.

Student Representative Council head coordinator ‘Alya Iwanina binti Haji Abu Bakar said the investiture was evidence that Student Council members were highly appreciated, especially the former, who completed their appointment in the council for the 2020/2021 session.

After accusing his girlfriend of cheating on him, a final year student of the Federal University, Dutse (FUD), Jigawa State has committed suicide.
Speaking to Premium Times, the university’s spokesperson, Abdullahi Bello, said the incident occurred on Monday, adding that the vice-chancellor, Abdulkareem Sabo, has ordered an investigation.
He said the deceased, Abdullahi Bashir, a 400-level student of Mathematics, died after ingesting an insecticide, Sniper, at his off-campus apartment at Yalwawa quarters in Dutse.
The federal government has since banned Sniper from being displayed on shelves for sale, however, suicide victims experience ease buying it to end their lives.
