Viterbo University opened its new Military Aligned Student Center on Tuesday. Located in the Reinhart Center, the space is a resource for any military students and their families to use to further their education.

JACKSON, Tenn. Jackson State Community College will be returning to in-person sessions starting this fall.
Jackson State is hosting a reopening event at the Student Center on July 31 from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. to celebrate the return of in-person learning.
“Students and the community can come check out the campus, they can apply, they can test to see what level of classes they need, they can register for courses, and they complete orientation all in the same day,” said Kyle Barron, Vice President of Student Services.
Not only does this allow students to get to know the college better, but it helps motivate them and the staff of the college.

The annual academic summer camp for high school students associated with Northwestern Oklahoma State University’s Upward Bound and Upward Bound Math and Science program will begin on the Alva campus with move-in day on Sunday, May 30, from 4 to 6 p.m.
The students will live in university housing while on campus and will eat their meals in Coronado Café. All students go home every Thursday after lunch and return to campus every Monday.
This five-week camp will finish on July 1; however, all students will return July 12-16 for a cultural field trip.
Jaunita Dotson, Upward Bound director, said the program currently has enrolled students from Aline-Cleo, Alva, Burlington, Cherokee, Fairview, Ringwood, Timberlake and Waynoka and are able to accept additional students in the eighth through 11th grades from these schools. All students will receive hands-on learning experiences in a variety of morning classes that run Monday through Thursday.
