UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. Information about the second of three Wellness Days, non-instructional days when wellness programming will be offered to students, faculty and staff, is now available at wellnessdays.psu.edu. Programming on March 11 will focus on intellectual and spiritual wellness and include live virtual and in-person events, recorded workshops and self-paced options.
Intellectual and spiritual wellness are important components of overall wellness, explained Dan Murphy, programming committee co-lead and director for Student Orientation and Transition Programs.
“Intellectual wellness is about stimulating our minds, whether it’s by learning new skills, participating in challenging conversations or reading enjoyable books,” said Murphy. “Spiritual wellness is about accessing peace and a sense of meaning through religion, mindfulness, nature or whatever path feels right to us.
