SAULT STE. MARIE Four Sault Area Middle School students have been selected to be students of the month for May.
Madison McLean has been chosen as the 8th grade student of the month. Madison is a student and athlete. She always gives her best effort in class and is willing to help other students. Her dedication can be seen academically and on the court or track.
Taylor Meilstrup has been chosen as the 7th grade student of the month. Meilstrup works hard in school, completing all her classwork and pushing herself to be a better student. Meilstrup has exceptional grades and is respected by everyone at school. Along with her academic success, Meilstrup has shown perseverance on the volleyball and basketball courts and on the track field this year. Meilstrup is an example of a student who puts forth the effort and has been successful at adapting to these different times.
