LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska’s teachers union is asking state officials to begin the process of vaccinating school employees within the next two weeks.
The request came in a letter to Gov. Pete Ricketts and state health officials on Friday from the Nebraska School Education Association.
NSEA President Jenni Benson and Executive Director Maddie Fennell also said the union’s “experience is that some Health Districts are unaware of or are not implementing” the state’s directive that health departments allocate 10% of their COVID-19 vaccine doses for certain populations.
