A call about a firearms disturbance Jan. 15 resulted in an Altoona woman facing drug charges Monday, but police did not report finding a firearm, court documents stated.
Amanda L. Hairfield, 34, was arraigned Monday by Magisterial District Judge Ben Jones after police discovered cash, drugs, a scale and an owe-sheet in a vehicle registered to her, according to court documents.
Police received an anonymous call about several people yelling in front of a yellow house on 24th Street while two men holding guns stood near a green SUV, police reported.

An Altoona man was charged with several crimes relating to child pornography stemming from an incident in 2019, and he has been jailed, according to Blair County court documents.
Jeffrey S. Snaman, 20, was arraigned Tuesday by Magisterial District Judge Ben Jones on 17 felony charges and 14 misdemeanors relating to child pornography and designing or copying obscene materials, according to court documents.
In December 2019, police responded to an attempted suicide at a residence where Snaman was staying, a criminal complaint stated.
While performing a safety sweep of the residence, police noted a hypodermic needle and a burnt, metal spoon were left in plain view.

An Altoona man allegedly admitted to police that he sexually assaulted a teenage girl, Blair County court documents stated.
George W. Niswonger, 63, was arraigned Thursday by Magisterial District Judge Andrew Blattenberger on charges including unlawful contact with a minor, aggravated indecent assaults of a minor and criminal solicitation of a minor.
On Dec. 5, the victim and Niswonger were driving to a gas station, when he allegedly put his hands on her thigh, exposed himself to her, asked her to perform oral sex on him and when she said no, he put his hand in her underwear, police reported.
