At 10.15pm on October 6 last year, police patrolling the Dawson Highway near Biloela intercepted Dyches’ for a random breath test. Michael Poul Reid Grenyer pleaded guilty last Wednesday to one count of public nuisance in the vicinity of a licensed premises. Police Prosecutor Senior Constable Pete Rumford read the facts of Grenyer s case to the court and Magistrate Philippa Beckinsale. On the afternoon of December 3 last year, Grenyer attended the Baralaba Hotel for his work Christmas party. He consumed alcohol throughout the afternoon and into the evening, before he started to play fight with a work mate outside the hotel.

Mother of five faces Bilo court on drugs charges

Premium Content A mother of five faced Biloela Magistrates Court this week on two drug-related charges. Leticia Marie Moore, 31, pleaded guilty to one count of possessing property suspected of having been used in connection with the commission of a drug offence and one count of possessing utensils or pipes that had been used. Police prosecutor Senior Constable Pete Rumford read the facts of Moore’s case to the court and Magistrate Philippa Beckinsale. On December 10 at 11am, police executed a search warrant on a home in Biloela where the defendant was present and detained. They located a homemade water pipe, silver grinder and black scissors, all of which had been used to smoke cannabis.

Biloela man blames meds after caught stealing

Premium Content Subscriber only A man who stole a phone from a Biloela supermarket blamed medication he was on at the time for his crime. James Maxwell Venner, 53, pleaded guilty in Biloela Magistrates Court on Wednesday to one count of stealing. Senior Constable Pete Rumford read the facts of Venner’s case to the court and Magistrate Philippa Beckinsale. On December 2, police were made aware that a mobile phone had been stolen from a local supermarket in Biloela. At 6.30pm the same day, Biloela police spoke to the supermarket’s management and reviewed CCTV footage of the incident, which placed Venner on scene as the perpetrator.
