Owners of Flat Rock’s Honey and Salt to open restaurant in Brevard
From staff reports
FLAT ROCK Restaurateurs Erin and Edward Hill, owners of brunch/lunch destination Honey and Salt in Flat Rock, announced plans to open Morning Social, their second eatery, in Brevard’s Lumberyard Art District in the space formerly occupied by Magpie Meat and Three. A midsummer grand opening is expected.
The Hills are hiring for positions in both the front and back of the house at Morning Social and also Honey and Salt.
Just like the Flat Rock restaurant, Morning Social will be open 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday.

“We’re thrilled to soon welcome everyone in Brevard to our newest restaurant, Morning Social,” said Honey & Salt co-owner Erin Hill. “Knowing we can tap the local farmers and growers in the community to help us develop a menu of farm-to-table specialties makes our job even more rewarding. For us, it’s a labor of love, and we can’t wait to see you this summer.”
The Hills plan to model Morning Social after the breakfast-all-day concept that attracts lines of diners out the door at Honey and Salt, which opened March 2017. The menu will include locally and organically sourced farm-to-table breakfast and seasonal lunch specials. Gluten-free and vegetarian choices will always be a mainstay on the menu for those with special food requirements. Morning Social will have a full selection of beer and wine.
