District One spokesman Keith Todd says both projects should take about four weeks to complete.
The U.S. 68-Business project will start at mile point 0.0 at the U.S. 68 West intersection, near Taste of the South, and extend eastward to the Kentucky 139/South Road intersection in downtown Cadiz. The total distance is nearly two miles.
The Kentucky 139/South Road project will start at mile point 9 at the Kentucky 807/Maggie Road intersection and extend north to Old Cadiz Maggie Road, a distance of 2.51 miles.
Todd adds motorists should be alert for one-lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers. Some delays are possible during the movement and placement of equipment to facilitate the work.
