A 17-year-old boy is among three people held for throwing a pistol out of a car in D Abadie on Sunday night.
Police said members of the Maloney CID were on patrol at around 8.05 pm when they saw a white Nissan B15 speed onto Maggie Hurst Lane.
The officers got suspicious and followed the car, then saw it collide with another car at the end of the street.
Police then saw one of the passengers throw a gun out of the car. The gun landed at the feet of a man who kicked it away and walked towards a house.

The Cleveland State Volleyball team fell 3-1 in a matchup with nationally-ranked region foe Walters State on Tuesday evening.
“The name of the game was defense,” said head coach Alizabeth Atnip. “Our girls battled like they haven’t all season. We came together and put up a fight against a tough Walters State team. We were a well-rounded team tonight and I’m proud of our Cougars.”
Claire Beasley led the team with 6 kills. Megan Lee, Madeline Dasher, Maggie Hurst, and Loryn Wilson all also chipped in five kills apiece.
