Provincial Waterworks Authority has announced the introduction of a 10% discount on water supply bills for private and rented accommodations, the reduction also applies to SME premises but excludes official and state-owned agencies.
The reduction – a total saving of 293 million baht spread across 4.59 million customers nationwide – will be applied automatically, without the need for advanced registration, to June-July 2021 bills, without advance registration.

The Provincial Waterworks Authority (PWA) has appointed Somboon Sunanthapongsak as the 15th PWA Governor.
The newly appointed governor announced his commitment to lead PWA to reach a goal of providing waterworks services and management with excellence and sustainability in compliance with a new policy titled: “FORWARDS with dynamism to the next era”.
“I trust that waterworks services and management operated by PWA will continue to be reliable, in particular the organisation’s commitment to infrastructure development across all 74 provinces of Thailand, especially in areas where purified water is scarce,” Mr. Somboon said.
