Bulacan COVID-19 recovery rate rises to 97%

(Photo courtesy of Bulacan Press Club) In its report to Governor Daniel Fernando, the PHO said it recorded 78 new laboratory results, bringing the total number of cases in the province to 41,604, according to the Provincial Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (PESU). Out of the total of 41,604 COVID-19 cases, 40,163 have recovered or 97 percent while 546 or 1 percent are active cases. Admitted in the hospitals are 36 patients; 98 in Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facilities (TTMF), while 412 are under home isolation.

Governor Samuel Gumarin signed Executive Order 19 series of 2021 on May 17, prohibiting the conduct of the following Manggahan Festival events: Manggahan Ride (Bike and motorcycle) Manggahan Sports Fest Manggahan by the Beach Gumarin said the Provincial Government will prioritize the safety of the Guimarasnons over these activities, noting that the Covid-19 pandemic remains to be a public health emergency in the country and around the world, “killing more than three million people to date since 2020.”

Bulacan logs 330 new COVID-19 cases

Published May 6, 2021, 11:26 AM The Provincial Health Office (PHO) of Bulacan has recorded 330 new cases of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), bringing the total number of cases in the province to 32,275. The Provincial Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (PESU) said that out of the total, 23,959 or 87 percent have recovered, while 2,729 or 10 percent are active cases. The PESU said that out of the 330 new cases, 185 are fresh, while 145 are late cases. Of the 2,729 active cases, 172 are admitted in hospitals, 328 are admitted in Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facilities (TTMFs), while 2,229 are under home isolation. Governor Daniel R. Fernando renewed his appeal to Bulakenyos to be steadfast in the fight against COVID-19.
