Kaylie Jardiner says Ma Mawi Wi Chi Itata Centre s (Ma Mawi) Volunteer Coordinator, says every day they are packing anywhere from 200 to 500 hampers, set to be delivered to families across the city to help keep them healthy and fed all week long. These are families with young children that are in need, Jardiner says If you are a single parent you can t be going out shopping. Financially people are in a harder situation due to the pandemic, so these boxes being free is really nice and they receive enough food to survive the whole week.
