However, a negative trend in outlook that was apparent in 2019 also may have reversed despite the pandemic. (Rain Coast Data) Many Sitka businesses are feeling optimistic about the future, according to a regional survey conducted by the Southeast Conference. Thirty-nine Sitka business managers and owners responded to the survey, which was distributed to communities across the region. In fact, a quarter of Sitka’s respondents actually characterized the business climate as “good” in the community this year.
