Raven’s love for radio sparked at a younger age, borrowing her mom’s tape recorder to DJ her own radio station in her spare time, either alone or with friends. After learning the ins and outs of radio; working production, on-air, and eventually managing KBHU-FM at Black Hills State University, she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in mass communication.
She began her radio career co-hosting morning shows in Sheridan, Wyoming, and then eventually moved back to Rapid City where she continued her journey, learning new things, meeting new people, and still obsessing over music day-in and day-out.

PIERRE, S.D. A task force primed to trim any fat from South Dakota s public universities budgets is inching closer to concrete recommendations, ranging from consolidating West River nursing programs under one Rapid City roof and clumping all the campuses on the same food vendor s contract.

RAPID CITY, S.D. – The high school sports season is quickly winding down.
So Rapid City Stevens held another ceremony on Wednesday to honor its students-athletes who will be competing at the next level this fall.
Grace Ellis, Fort Lewis College, Women’s Basketball
Grace Ellis signed a letter of intent to compete in women’s basketball at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado.
Ellis was a member of the Stevens girls basketball team that qualified for the state tournament and lost to Sioux Falls Washington in the state championship game.
