Police investigations into domestic abuse allegations against Dennis Oland not a certainty
An accusation made public earlier this month alleging Dennis Oland assaulted his wife in a Toronto hotel room in June 2018 may not be enough on its own to push police to re-examine the incident or put Oland in any new legal trouble, according to experts.

Rexall closing Brunswick House location due to decline in traffic

Rexall pharmacy is closing it s location at the Brunswick House. CITYNEWS.
Rexall is closing down its pharmacy in what was the former Brunswick House pub at the corner of Bloor Street and Brunswick Avenue.
The pharmacy chain moved in to the location once occupied by the longtime favorite bar of University of Toronto students four years ago, but a spokesperson for the chain tells 680 NEWS that it is now moving out due to a lack of traffic.
“The community and retail buildings around the Rexall located at 481 Bloor Street West in Toronto have seen a very heavy decline in traffic since COVID–19 protocols have been in place. As a result, we have made the difficult decision of permanently closing this location,” said Andrew Forgione, spokesman for Rexall.
