WINDSOR, ONT.   Chatham-Kent OPP have charged a 20-year-old driver with several firearm and drug offences after a traffic stop for stunt driving on Highway 401. Police say an officer initiated a traffic stop after seeing a vehicle travelling at high rate of speed on Monday at 7:15 p.m. A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of a firearm, ammunition and a quantity of drugs. OPP has charged 20-year-old Hayden Pierce of Caledon with: Race a motor vehicle - Stunt - Highway Traffic Act (H.T.A.) Carrying Concealed Weapon - Criminal Code of Canada (C.C.) Knowledge of unauthorized possession of a firearm - C.C.

Taylor man charged in crash that killed 13-year-old Phoebe Elliot

and last updated 2021-02-05 20:43:39-05 (WXYZ) — A Taylor man has been charged in connection to the car accident that killed 13-year-old Phoebe Elliot and injured her aunt. Both were from Allen Park. The Wayne County Prosecutor s Office has charged 20-year-old Noah Damron after it is alleged that he was intoxicated and driving at a high rate of speed when he crashed into the family s SUV near Telegraph and Northline on Feb. 3. Officials say Damron also had a firearm in his car at the time of the crash. Damron is facing numerous charges including Reckless Driving Causing Death, Reckless Driving Causing a Serious Impairment, Operating While Intoxicated Causing Death, Operating While Intoxicated Causing Serious Injury, Carrying a Concealed Weapon and four counts of Felony Firearm. The weapons charges stem from the gun that was found in the car.

BY Scott Miller | February 3, 2021 Investigation into a stolen Nebraska Lottery ticket ends with the arrest of a 44-year-old Gering man on weapons and theft charges. Gering Police say they were notified of a panic alarm at a convenience store Tuesday afternoon, and on arrival were told by dispatchers the clerk had been notified by the state Lottery Commission someone inside was trying to cash in a stolen ticket. Investigators say once inside, the clerk identified William Sanchez, also known as Billy Jack Little Spotted Horse, as the person trying to cash the ticket, and also told officers that lottery officials said in addition to the ticket, they were looking for a truck and a stolen firearm.
