Marcus “Mark” Hall Atchley Wednesday, April 21, 2021 Marcus “Mark” Hall Atchley Marcus “Mark” Hall Atchley, 66, returned to his heavenly home on April 18, 2021, after a courageous battle with a long illness. His devotion to his family and his firm belief in God supported him in his struggle and ultimately gave him peace.   Mark was born to the late Hall and Connie Atchley on Dec. 10, 1954, in Chattanooga. He graduated from Red Bank High School where he was involved in many sports including football. Mark signed with the University of Georgia to play football. He married Starr Webster in 1984. Mark later attended Chattanooga State Nursing Program and worked as a registered nurse for over 20 years. He loved spending time with his family and friends; his favorite pastime was playing golf, and he did as often as he could. Mark was a patient and kind man with a passion for caring for others. Mark will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
