Mumbai: Three Drug Peddlers Arrested In Dharavi, Drugs Worth Rs 1.2 Crore Seized

Three people were arrested on Tuesday (27 April), by the Anti-Narcotics Cell in Mumbai, for their alleged involvement in drug dealing and drug possession as reported by
ANI.
Rizwan Rehmat Khan, Jabbar Abdul Sattar Khan and Fakarulla Aamir Badshaha Shaikh were taken into custody by the police near Akhil Bharatiya Kunchi Korve Nagar, Dharavi.
One kg of Mephedrone, worth Rs 1.2 Crore and an electronic weighing machine from the possession of the three accused has also been recovered.
A case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act has been registered against all the accused.

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], April 13 (ANI): The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has detained two alleged drug peddlers after conducting raids at several locations in Mumbai on Monday night, in connection with a drug case related to actor Sushant Singh Rajput s death.
The raids were conducted in areas of Malad, Parel and Santacruz and the agency also recovered drugs from the possession of the arrested persons.
According to the NCB, one of the two accused had earlier been selected to become a policeman.
The NCB, which has been probing the drugs angle in the actor s death case, started the investigation after it received official communication from the Enforcement Directorate (ED), in which there were various chats related to drug consumption, procurement, usage and transportation.

Four persons arrested, complete network busted, which included manufacturer, wholesale, distributor and shipper in all 34 seizures affected during the current operation in last 10 days in various parts of Delhi, UP and Uttarakhand, said KPS Malhotra, Deputy Director of NCB.
The NCB has seized a total of 30.5 lakhs of psychotropic drugs, 70,000 codeine-based cough syrups (CBCS) and 14.895 kg amphetamine in the current operation.

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested four persons and seized 34 consignments of psychotropic drugs, mostly Tramadol, during searches in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. They were to be dispatched to the United States, European nations and other countries.
Tramadol is used as a pain suppressant and resilience booster by Islamic State fighters in Syria and insurgents in African countries.
The accused were involved in the manufacturing, warehousing and supply of drugs. During the searches, the agency seized 30.50 lakh Tramadol tablets, 70,000 codiene-based cough syrups and about 15 kg of amphetamine.
