Kent Lee, of Buffalo Grove, was recently initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation s oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society. Lee was initiated at University of Southern California. Lee is among approximately 30,000 students, faculty, professional staff and alumni to be initiated into Phi Kappa Phi each year. Membership is by invitation only and requires nomination and approval by a chapter. Only the top 10 percent of seniors and 7.5 percent of juniors are eligible for membership. Sondra Spalding of Hillsboro was recently initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society. Spalding was initiated at the University of Maryland Global Campus.
Pence of Northland Dean’s List
Northland College has named sophomore Emily Pence of Hillsboro to the dean’s list for outstanding academic performance during the winter 2021 term. To qualify for the dean’s list, full-time students must have a grade point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale with no grade less than a “C.”
