La impactante explosión registrada este miércoles 4 de agosto, en la estación de servicio Araguaney, situada en la avenida Algimiro Gabaldón del estado Anzoátegui, dejó el saldo de una persona fallecida y al menos nueve heridos.
Según indicaron periodistas de la localidad, el hecho sucedió cuando una unidad de trasporte público, le estaban surtiendo gas natural.
Sin embargo, una presunta falla ocasionó la explosión, comprometiendo cuatro vehículos. Dentro de los automotores quedaron nueve personas atrapadas.

En el lugar pereció el bombero de la estación, mientras que los ciudadanos que se encontraban en los carros resultaron heridos, siendo trasladados a los diferentes centros de salud de la ciudad.
