• FCT, Ekiti, Ondo, Ebonyi, 17 northern states sign up for NLTP
Six state governments, namely Delta, Cross River, Anambra, Akwa Ibom, Oyo, and Edo have said they will not donate any land to be used as grazing reserves for herdsmen under the National Livestock Transformation Programme.
However, 17 northern states and the Federal Capital Territory, as well as three southern states, namely Ekiti, Ondo, and Ebonyi, have signed up for the programme.
The Federal Government had in February said it had mapped out 30 grazing reserves across the country for the planned implementation of the NLTP.

Actress, Maryam Charles, has said that fans should not feel entitled to giveaways from celebrities. In an interview with
Sunday Scoop, she said, “It is the fact that some of these fans demand for giveaways that irks me. We are all human beings. Like I mentioned recently on Facebook, some people’s full-time work is to harass celebrities for just N2,000. It makes no sense to me. People should understand that celebrities also have problems.
“My advice to other celebs is to help who they can and in situations where they cannot help, they should move on. They should not let anybody pressure them unnecessarily.”
