Montgomery, Curator of Clothing and Textiles, Museum of Texas Tech University and a frequent contributor to this column. Sumptuous Stitches and Tiny Treasures: Needlework and Needlework Tools from the Museum of Texas Tech University Collection is currently open and runs through Dec. 19, 2021.  Among the beautiful pieces are needlework and gorgeous mechanical needlework tools that men will enjoy seeing, too. Although many of the pieces are of the finest silver and gold and were made and used in Europe; there are many on exhibit that tell the story of West Texas.
