JACKSON, MI The new 24/7 crisis services center at LifeWays Community Mental Health couldn’t have come at a better time, Wade Stitt said.
As the agency’s director of access and crisis services, Stitt sees how expanded mental health services are vital to the community’s health now and after the coronavirus pandemic.
“I don’t think we’ve begun to see the impact the pandemic has had on folks’ mental illness,” he said. “We’re starting to see some of that now in the increase in our crisis response and hospitalizations, but I think this is needed now more than ever.”

JACKSON, MI – Mental health advocacy has always driven Diane Reynolds to treat others with empathy and respect.
It’s what made her a natural leader and drove her vision at the nonprofit mental health agency Segue Inc., said coworkers and stakeholders, who have demonstrated their respect for Reynolds by renaming their Jackson building the Diane M. Reynolds Recovery Center.
Employees and community members hosted a building dedication ceremony on Wednesday, Dec. 16, to honor Reynolds, who has left the agency due to a cancer diagnosis, and acknowledge her leadership throughout her 23 years there and the impact she’s had in mental health advocacy.
