Chloë Agnew joins American Traditions Vocal Competition for St Patrick s Day show

Live music has become a treasured experience since last year. It’s become a case of you don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone. When the pandemic forced Savannah to cancel St. Patrick’s Day last year, none of us could have predicted how many other events would follow suit. One year later, we’re all eagerly looking forward to some sort of return to normalcy. While we may not have the parade again this year, the American Traditions Vocal Competition brings some of the music we look forward to every St. Patrick’s Day. Dublin singer Chloë Agnew, who earned acclaim as one of the original members of the music group “Celtic Woman,” will be performing at the Savannah Country Club on Saturday at 3 p.m.

With 2021 s virtual offering, the American Traditions Vocal Competition shakes it up

Enocha Edenfield For Do Savannah In a bid to keep ourselves entertained, many of us are looking outside our usual go-to TV shows, films, and even music genres. That fits well with the goal of the American Traditions Vocal Competition. The nonprofit encourages people throughout Savannah to learn more about various genres of music. It culminates with the American Traditions Vocal Competition from Feb. 9 through 19 featuring some of the best vocalists from around the world. Thanks to COVID-19 precautions, you can get a front-row seat to this year’s vocal competition right from your home. The competition will air online for the most part.
