Idaho Conservation Corps and Northwest Youth Corps are regional conservation corps that offer paid internships with public land agencies, such as the Forest Service and National Park Service. Many of their internships are AmeriCorps-sponsored and several have “hire authorities” upon term completion that provides interns with a much more competitive status when applying for federal jobs. They are in the midst of their large Spring recruitment push and have several internship opportunities currently open for application. They will also be adding more internships to their website across the next few weeks. Please send any questions to Andrew Tagge, Internship Program Officer andrewt@nwyouthcorps.org
