Grandparents seeking justice for J J and Tylee hope Daybells will face murder charges

The story of the murdered children, JJ and Tylee, has captured national attention since it started back in late 2019. Through the twists and turns, lies, deception, and plain strange behavior of Lori Vallow, Chad Daybell, and many of their family members. I ve followed the story pretty closely and written a few blogs with updates about the case of the missing kids, but a new special from 20/20 still surprised me with information. It also raised a few more questions I hadn t thought of before.
The ABC 20/20 special is called The Gravedigger s Wife and is somehow less than an hour and a half long and packed with surprising information and interviews. You can stream the episode from Hulu or ABC. Be warned though, there are a lot of other crazy crime stories in the series and you will probably get sucked into hours of crime-drama watching. Those are the bedtime stories in my house lately.

BOISE, Idaho Dateline NBC and host Keith Morrison have just released a new, original podcast series about the Lori Vallow case called, Mommy Doomsday.
The six-part series exposes the bizarre trail of death, devotion and doomsday beliefs held by Vallow and her husband Chad Daybell. I mean, I ve never seen anything like it before, Morrison told KTVB. And it s just so far out there on the edge of rational thought.

After more than 50 years in the broadcasting business, there are still some surprises to be had for Keith Morrison, the dulcet-toned correspondent of NBC’s long-running newsmagazine,
Dateline. For instance, the success of his first podcast, 2019’s
“I hadn’t given much thought to the podcast world because we were busy enough as it was,” says Morrison, who began his career in radio. “I was somewhat skeptical at the beginning that this would be such a good fit for us, but once you realize that you’re not constrained by all the structure of a television show, you can get more into the details and down the rabbit holes. It was fun.”
