Four Colorado Front Range shelters are now full of Siberian huskies after an overwhelmed breeder surrendered 50 purebreds this past week.

The Humane Society of the Pikes Peak is looking after nine of the huskies, meanwhile the Pueblo region is caring for five. Our first priority is to earn their trust with kindness, comfort, and much-needed rest, said the Humane Society of Boulder Valley, which also took in eight of the huskies.
