In a world more globally connected than ever before, leaders need to be well prepared with the right knowledge, attitudes, skills, and behaviors to be successful. Asia Society s Young Leaders Institute (YLI) is a week-long summer program for high school students that promotes global competence, elevates leadership skills, and connects students from across diverse backgrounds and experiences.
Since launching in 2016, the Young Leaders Institute has provided new perspectives and strengthened skills for over 300 students. The Institute s sixth year explores some of the most timely, relevant global issues for young leaders facing a world transformed by COVID-19.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) â The Leon County Sheriff s Office arrested 36-year-old Gari Tookes, an assistant professor of sociology at Florida A&M University after deputies say he sexually abused a minor.
FAMU released the following statement regarding Tookes: He was hired in Aug 2018. As of today [Apil 29], he is an employee. The Human Relations Department is reviewing the status of his relationship with the university.
Tookes was previously a clinical social worker.
According to the Leon County Sheriffâs Office, the Florida Department of Children and Families received information regarding a sexual battery on February 23, 2021.

A certain very active anti-India lobby is targeting small cities in the US to pass non-binding inert resolutions and proclamations related to CAA and Kashmir, condemning India for such laws.
As with all actions of the anti-India brigade, their motives are ulterior, their methods are underhand and their attitude is aggressive.
On 26 February 2021, the Chicago City Council in the US deferred the passing of the anti-India, anti-CAA resolution to their next session. Thus the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) fight in Chicago entered Round 6. Round 1 through Round 5 went to the Indian Americans for successfully resisting the passage of the resolution for seven months.
