Stress Matters to partner with the University of Hertfordshire on wellbeing research

Stress Matters has announced that it has formed a partnership with the University of Hertfordshire to conduct a survey into wellbeing within the event industry. Since 2017, Stress Matters has been conducting research into the events industry to understand the state of wellbeing of the event professionals.  The working group includes: Allan Jepson, the chair of the Association for Events Management Education (AEME) and senior lecturer and researcher at the University of Hertfordshire; Raphaela Stadler, senior lecturer in Event Management, Tourism and Hospitality also at the University of Hertfordshire; Trudie Walters, president of the Australia and New Zealand Association for Leisure Studies and research fellow in the Department of Preventive and Social Medicine at the University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand; and the Stress Matters team led by Laura Capell-Abra, founder of Stress Matters.

Navigating the new normal: sign up for live broadcast

Both events will broadcast live from Celebromedia Studios. The morning’s live broadcast, which will take place at 11am, will see panellists discuss how companies can navigate the ‘next normal’ in creative communications and adapting the next level of customer experience. The panel will look at topics including how companies can bring back confidence in events for the year ahead, how to build customer relationships in a continually changing landscape and the rise of the live streamed customer buying experience. The panel will comprise of Rob Sinclair Barnes, global brand director; Richard Brooks, global head of sales for Stichd; Christianne Beck, head of events at Clearleft; and Nikki Clare, head of events and client service for Hearst UK.
