The Bangladeshi government on Sunday extended the countrywide lockdown to May 30 but eased restrictions on long-route public transport services, which were suspended since early last month. The government decided to resume public transport services from midnight Sunday on the condition of people complying with the health rules, according to the latest circular issued by the country s Cabinet Division on Sunday.

Azhar was previously the minister for industries and production. A statement said under the chairmanship of Azhar, Pakistan had been making “all out endeavours” in achieving full compliance with Financial Action Task Force’s (FATF) plan of action and the standards and safeguards set by the FATF and the Asia Pacific Group (APG).
