We’d seen the release of the
Magical Warfare series back in 2015 on separate DVD and Blu-ray editions which came after the simulcast for it. There were trailers for it at the time but they were run by The Anime Network, which isn’t around in the way that it was back then. That’s been updated recently with Sentai adding the show to their streaming channel for the trailer while highlighting that it’s still in print and available for streaming on HIDIVE.

The Madhouse production is directed by Sato Yuzo with scripting done by Fudeyasu Kazuyuki. Ebata Ryouma is doubling up here in duties by taking on both character design and the position of chief animation director. Kouda Masato is providing the score for Flying Dog for it. Announced as going into production back in July 2013, the original work comes from Hisashi Suzuki with artwork by Lunalia.
