COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN) Governor Mike DeWine Monday announced the next group of Ohioans eligible to receive a coronavirus vaccine.
Beginning Thursday, Phase 1-D of his vaccination plan will begin. It allows those with type-2 diabetes and end-stage renal failure to receive a vaccine. Also on Thursday, Phase 2-B allows Ohioans age 50 and older to receive a vaccine.
Around 1.2 million Ohioans fall in the 50 to 59 age range. The latest information from the Ohio Department of Health shows close to 2 million Ohioans have their first of two shots, which is a little over 17 percent of the state s population.
