Eid celebrated with religious fervour in Punjab July 24, 2021 FAISALABAD: Eidul Azha was celebrated with religious zeal and fervour here. Eid congregations were held at mosques and open places. The faithful sacrificed animals following the Sunnah of Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) after offering Eid prayer. The district administration and police had made elaborated security and administrative arrangements to avoid any untoward incident during the Eid days. After offering Eid prayer, Commissioner Saqib Manan and Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali visited the DHQ Hospital and presented Eid gifts to the patients and prayed for their early recovery. Later, the commissioner and deputy commissioner went to Darul Aman and presented Eid gifts to the women and their children.
