Mandel Group s M10 building redevelopment in Wauwatosa an expansion opportunity for its retail tenants

Rodney Zimmerman, co-owner of Ally s Bistro in Menomonee Falls, had heard about Mandel Group Inc. s plans to redevelop a historic powerhouse building in Wauwatosa. Known as the M10 building, it would be redeveloped for commercial uses as part of the Milwaukee-based developer s mixed-use project that also includes a 102-unit apartment complex and 119-room hotel. The project is at 10460 Innovation Drive in Wauwatosa. Zimmerman thought it was the perfect location to expand the business. Bublr Bikes set to add roughly 200 electric bikes later this summer

Bublr Bikes is set to expand service to more areas throughout Milwaukee County and will add roughly 200 electric-assist bikes to its fleet in July.  The Department of Public Works, Bublr, and community partners spent the last two years deciding where to expand. They settled on all areas of the city, including multiple stations on North King Drive, the Washington Park Library, and the Urban Ecology Center. All 26 new stations can be found here.  The new station sites were chosen following several public meetings where residents shared their ideas. Some sites will fill in gaps in the existing bike-share system, but the majority will be placed in neighborhoods that currently don’t have access to Bublr.

Vel R. Phillips Ave. Chicago-based North Wells Capital acquired Bon-Ton’s headquarters in 2017, with the retailer’s flagship Boston Store department store on the first two levels. The real estate firm was working with Bon-Ton to consolidate its office and retail footprint in the building when the company filed for bankruptcy. Prior owner WisPark had already worked with the Mandel Group to convert the top of the eight-story building to
