Sandy Springs police make an arrest in the murder of a 73-year-old woman.
SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. - The Sandy Springs Police Department said Wednesday officers arrested a 59-year-old woman and charged her with the murder of a 73-year-old woman.
Police said Chelci Chisholm is in Fulton County Jail on charges of malice murder, aggravated assault, and obstruction.
Authorities suspect her in connection to the death of 73-year-old Marlene Diane Colon.

A Georgia police officer is recovering Monday after another vehicle slammed into his patrol car while he was conducting a traffic stop over the weekend, authorities say.
Photos released by the Sandy Springs Police Department showed heavy damage to the rear of one of its cruisers following the collision early Sunday in the Atlanta area. The man controlling the vehicle alleged to have struck the officer, identified as Khiry Smith, 24, is now facing charges including DUI and reckless driving, the department adds. SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. - A Sandy Springs police officer is in the hospital after a suspected drunk driver hit his vehicle during a traffic stop.
Officials say the crash happened on Georgia-400 South near Windsor Parkway around 1 a.m. Sunday.
According to police, the officer was inside his patrol vehicle fully visible on the right shoulder with his emergency lights on when 24-year-old Khiry Smith ran into him.
Medics rushed the officer to a nearby hospital where he is being treated for his injuries.
