IU Enters Gaon Digital Chart for 21st Week of 2021 18 Times with Old and New Songs
On May 27, Gaon Chart released the chart rankings for the 21
st week of 2021 (from May 16 to 22).
On the latest Gaon Digital Chart, IU entered 18 times with her old and new songs. Her latest title track LILAC is the highest-ranking among her songs on the chart. It sits at No. 5 with 22,924,943 digital points.
IU has attained her highest personal record of first-week album sales with her new release LILAC.
On March 25, IU released her new album title LILAC, which delivers the singer s gratitude to those who watched over her all through her twenties. The album comprises the pre-release song Celebrity and the two title tracks LILAC and Coin, plus seven other singles for a total of 10 songs.
Hanteo Chart kept track of the sales for IU s LILAC following its release. On April 5, Hanteo Chart revealed that the female K-pop soloist obtained her highest Initial Chodong or first-week album sales, beating her previous record with Love Poem.

On April 3, IU proved once again her soloist power as she remarkably secured a total of 16 positions on MelOn s Top 100 daily chart with her previous songs, alongside her new tracks from her latest album LILAC, appeared on today s rankings.
IU Lands 16 Songs on MelOn s Top 100 Daily Chart
On April 3, Korean media outlets revealed that all 10 songs from IU s new album
LILAC have entered the MelOn Top 100 Daily Chart.
In particular, the album s title tracks LILAC and Coin took the Nos. 1 and 4, respectively. The pre-release song Celebrity also appeared on the chart, claiming the No. 3 spot.
Some of the other songs from IU s album to rank on this day s MelOn Top 100 are Hi Spring Bye (No. 8), Flu (No. 9), Troll featuring DEAN (No. 9), and My Sea (No. 14).

Clinching the No. 2 position is BLACKPINK Rosé with her single album R, which was dropped on March 12. Based on the chart, Rosé sold 93,646 album copies from March 22 to March 28.
Rosé s single album placed first in the third week of March with a total of 358,742 copies sold. This is the highest Initial Chodong sales amount on Hanteo Chart among the female artists in history.
