The chief military spokesperson of Pakistan on Wednesday said that action has already been taken against the army officials who were responsible for the escape of former Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) spokesman Ehsanullah Ehsan from their custody.
Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Major General Babar Iftikhar, while speaking to foreign journalists at the ISPR office, said that the escape of Ehsan was a very serious matter and after a thorough investigation, action was taken against the responsible army officers.

RAWALPINDI: The director-general of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Major General Babar Iftikhar on Wednesday said the Pakistan army is searching for TTP leader Ehsanullah Ehsan, who fled from custody last year.
Speaking to foreign journalists, the DG ISPR said that Ehsan s escape was a matter of great concern for the Army, adding that action was taken against the officers responsible for the militant s escape.

Geo.tv, Gen Maj Babar said that at present, the Army is unaware of Ehsanullah Ehsan s whereabouts and said that the TTP leader s Twitter account, which was recently used to issue threats to Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai, turned out to be fake.
