HMA Philip Malone and Prime Minister of Mongolia L.Oyun-Erdene HMA Philip Malone met with L.Oyun-Erdene, Prime Minister of Mongolia on 19 February 2021. They discussed the COVID-19 situation in Mongolia, climate change and the upcoming COP26 summit, education, and trade relations including bilateral work on several infrastructure projects. The Prime Minister highlighted that Mongolia was about to receive 150,000 doses of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine and was keen to source more. He welcomed the UK’s role in the COVAX facility that would be supplying further vaccines in the coming weeks, and expressed a desire to strengthen Mongolia-UK relations in several areas including trade.
