Feb 2: Dakshina Kannada reports 23 fresh corona cases, 8 new in Udupi

Mangaluru/Udupi, Feb 02: Dakshina Kannada on Tuesday, February 02 recorded 23 new cases of novel coronavirus, while Udupi reported 08 fresh cases.
As per the Dakshina Kannada district health bulletin, a total of 5,26,819 samples have been tested so far, out of which 4,92,992 have turned out to be negative.
The total number of positive cases in the district stands at 33,827, out of which only 285 are currently active.
As many as 24 patients were discharged from hospitals on Tuesday. The total number of deaths so far is 740.

Mangaluru/Udupi, Feb 1: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 16 fresh coronavirus cases on Monday raising the tally to 33,804. Out of these, 286 cases are currently active.
A total of 5,25,511 samples have been tested. Out of which 4,91,707 are negative.
As many as 18 people were discharged on Monday, taking the total number of recoveries to 32,778.
A total of 740 deaths have occurred so far, including one on Monday.
Over 29,202 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 30,44,370 in fines have been collected by the authorities.

Mangaluru/Udupi, Jan 31: Dakshina Kannada on Sunday January 31 recorded 33 new cases of novel coronavirus, while Udupi reported nine fresh cases.
As per the state health bulletin, the total number of positive cases in the district stands at 33,788, out of which only 289 are currently active.
As many as 33 patients were discharged from hospitals on Sunday, taking the total number of recoveries to 32,760.
The total number of deaths so far in the district is 739, which includes two non-COVID deaths.
Though the cases are on a decline, the district administration has urged people to continue maintaining social distance in public places and wear masks when stepping out of the house. Anyone not wearing a mask would be fined by the authority.

Mangaluru/Udupi, Jan 28: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 34 fresh coronavirus cases on Thursday raising the tally to 33,701. Out of these, 281 cases are currently active.
A total of 5,20,272 samples have been tested. Out of which 4,86,571 are negative.
As many as 11 people were discharged on Thursday, taking the total number of recoveries to 32,681.
A total of 739 deaths have occurred so far.
Over 28,259 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 29,49,570 in fines have been collected by the authorities.
